Blog

I have been making A LOT of cocktails lately! Matt and I are having so much fun discovering new recipes and combinations to create the perfectly crafted adult beverage. And, since I’m sharing those fun drinks with you every #WinedownWednesday, I thought we might consider essentials for your bar cart so that you’re always prepared. I’ve rounded up some of my most favorite finds right now to help you be the most successful Quarantine Mixologist. Cheers!

Regina Gold X Frame 2 Tier Serving Cart Gold – Silverwood

Let’s start with the actual cart itself. I found this one ON SALE at Target. What a steal right now! It’s the perfect size and a sleek, modern style.

Bleecker Glass Bar Tray

A MUST HAVE for every single bar (whether it’s on a cart or not, is a tray. I love that this one from Pottery Barn (also ON SALE) can be monogrammed. Plus, it comes in both gold and bronze. The handles make it perfect to be able to pick up and move wherever you need it in your home (cocktails included).

Hatch Mixing Glass Set

I’m OBSESSED with the Hatch Collection of barware from Crate & Barrel, most specifically this mixing glass. The cut glass feels so regal and Gatsby-esque. The entire collection is ON SALE and this gem is less than $10.

Copper Bar Spoon with Muddler

Pair your Hatch mixing glass with this super helpful bar spoon. I love this in copper and the fact that it has a muddler on the end (for smashing up mint in those summer mojitos) makes it even more useful.

Deluxe Ice Stamp

Matt Adams is a bourbon fanatic. Last summer when we had craft cocktails @VandykeNashville for the very first time, he was introduced to this ice stamp. I’ve never seen the man so excited over a piece of ice in my life. So, naturally, I had to have a custom one made for our Bar Adams. It easily and quickly stamps the logo or design into your block of ice. It’s the little details that speak volumes to your guests!

Monogrammed Paper Cocktail Napkins

Several years ago when I attended my first Southern C Summit, I met the incomparable Emily McCarthy, who knows a thing or two about beautiful things. Shop her online store for these darling, custom cocktail napkins in all the colors of the rainbow.

Bleecker Cocktail Shaker

You simply must have a beautiful cocktail shaker. I’ve used mine in quarantine more than in all the 17 years combined Matt and I have been married. This one from Pottery Barn (again, ON SALE) pairs perfectly with the Bleeker glass bar tray I mentioned earlier. I love that it’s clear glass so you can see what you’re mixing up.

WithCo Cocktails

Several years ago I had a meeting with one of my darling AOIIs and her husband, @moderndayleader, founder and creator of WithCo Cocktails. Y’all they are hands down the best fresh cocktail mixes you’ll ever taste. And, I love all the innovative flavors. These stunning bottles will enhance the overall look and feel of your bar too. Look how gorgeous they are just sitting there!

The Coupe: Celebrating Craft Cocktails and Vintage Collections

No bar cart is complete without the perfect cocktail book. And this is a personal fave from @brianharthoffman. A nod to the quintessential cocktail glass, you’ll find it both informative and fun!
